Superior category extra virgin olive oil obtained from olives pressed Slow Food Presidium exclusively by mechanical means.


Intosso is a dual-purpose olive variety, native to the Casoli area. The monovarietal intosso oil is characterised by an intense fruitiness of grass and fresh artichoke. In the mouth it shows power and depth with hints of walnut and tomato, and a pleasant spiciness reminiscent of green pepper. These strong notes are due to the presence of antioxidant polyphenols with beneficial and protective virtues.

It is excellent simply on bread, with cereal and legume soups, blue fish and salt cod, and barbecued meats. Inevitable on traditional Abruzzo dishes. pizz e foje.
